This beautifully renovated cottage sits on the edge of a long wooded valley and has clear views down to the cliffs and sea near Tintagel. The owners have recently planted 2500 trees on site, which you are welcome to wander around although they are in their first year and protected from the salt laden winds. The views from the fields are spectacular and evenings can be spent watching the sunset with a glass of wine.
The owners recommend a visit to the newly opened cafe/restaurant and farm shop close by, just outside of Boscastle, which is very good and hugely popular. Take a look – www.boscastlefarmshop.co.uk
If you visit for an autumn break, it is well worth visiting the Boscastle Festival on 4th and 5th October. Many local west country producers exhibit with local crafts and cookery demonstrations. Take a look at what they have planned for the weekend. – www.boscastlefestival.co.uk
