Spring Seasonal Recipes

This month we say good bye to the humble Brussels sprout and hello to fresh greens as spring creeps in and the world begins to bloom. Hearty meals make way for fresh new flavours as the season for new year fruit and veg starts to creep in.  There’s an array of wonderful produce coming into season over the next couple of months including:


Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Broccoli, Cabbages, Curly Kale, Leeks, Spring Greens, Sorrel, Cauliflower, Celeriac, Chicory, Parsley, Mint, Potatoes, and Spring Onions.



Cauliflower, Cabbages, Lettuces, Radishes, Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Broccoli, Spring Greens, Sea Kale, Watercress, Morel Mushrooms, Wild Garlic, Sorrel, Rocket, Jersey Royal New Potatoes, Spinach, and Spring Lamb.



British Asparagus, Cauliflowers, Lettuce, Radishes, Rocket, Sorrel, Watercress, Artichokes, Aubergines, Broccoli, Fennel, Jersey Royal New Potatoes, Mange tout, New Potatoes, Samphire, and Mint.

A wonderful celebration of all things seasonal, perfect as a starter or light lunch.


Pea, mint and spring onion soup

A wonderful reminder of spring – replace the spring onion with wild garlic for a truly seasonal soup.
