Cornish Easter Treats



Its Easter time again, when the daffodils are in full bloom, the sunny days seem warmer and the chocolate eggs are plentiful. As the county fills up with visitors from afar and the smell of BBQ’s start to fill the air there is an array of activities and places to visit over the next week’s holiday. From egg hunts to Easter rabbits and gardens in bloom to Hot Cross bun baking there is something for everyone.


30th March to 17th April – Falmouth

A wonderful festival celebrating Falmouth’s green spaces, with a whole host of activities jam packed into this festival there is something for everyone, such as guided walks, beach cleans, Fitness on the Moor, organised runs, children’s games and a cider festival!

1st to 17th April – Eden Project

A must for the family is the Eden Project’s Easter Fun – There’s golden egg hunts, egg throwing, nestballing and a whole host of entertainment from wobble bridges to storytelling across the sight. Hours of fun for the children!

2nd to 16th April – St Micheal’s Mount

Besides a stunning castle, there are many things going on this Easter, all things birds based! Learn about how to protect native birds, help make a giant bird nest, become a bird spotter and build a bird box. There are also opportunities for guided rockpool rummaging!

 8th – 16th April – Port Issac

Feast your ears on the sounds of St Endellion Easter Music Festival – a wonderful week of performances from musicians and singers in the 15th Century Church.

11th April – Hall For Cornwall

An afternoon of entertainment for the little ones as Cbeebies Justin’s Party is coming to town!


15th April – Constantine

Forage in Constantine’s recreational ground for the hidden bunnies – Fun for all the family!

(Stay at the nearby Forgotten Houses of Bosvathick Lodge, Badgers, Bosbenna or Polwartha)


17th April – Wadebridge

A day of local artisan producers fill the streets of Wadebridge at the annual Wadebridge Good Food & Craft Day. (Stay at Brown’s Barn in Wadebridge to be close to the action and delicious food!)
