Many hedgerows are filled with blackberries, elderberries, and the occasional sloe this time of year, apples are in abundance and the winter vegetables are coming into season. This time of year is perfect for enjoying evenings in front of the fire after muddy walks in the countryside and many of our Forgotten Houses have log burners or open fires to enjoy.
