Bosvathick House is at the heart of a small country farming estate, and lived in by the descendants of those who built the first Georgian house there in 1760.
The house has about 9 acres of gardens and, in addition to the Georgian part, there is in extensive Victorian wing. It is a couple of miles from the Helford River in one of the most beautiful and, indeed, quietest parts of Cornwall. Situated just outside Constantine, the
map shows the location.
The house retains all the features of long family ownership and the layout that has developed over the last 250 years. There are two twin bedrooms. The large Victorian bedroom has a private shower room just outside the room. The Georgian bedroom on the south front has a more distant bathroom.
The bedrooms have TV with DVD, clock/radio/CD and tea/coffee making facility. The house is non-smoking. There is plenty of parking.
With a choice of a full English or a Continental breakfast, this should be a lovely experience in a really interesting and unusual house.
Open all year except Christmas and Easter. For an overnight or a longer stay, rates are £30 per person per night, based on two adults sharing a twin room, or £45 per night for single occupancy.
